Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead business development activities and drive revenue growth in the sheet metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing sector. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing key accounts, generating RFQs, converting enquiries into orders, and building long-term relationships with OEMs and industrial customers.
Job description
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers in OEM, automotive, engineering, defence, railway and industrial sectors.
- Develop business opportunities for Laser Cutting, Sheet Metal Fabrication, CNC Bending, TIG/MIG/CO₂/Laser Welding, Powder Coating and Assembly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers and key industrial customers.
- Generate and manage RFQs, enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
- Lead commercial discussions, price negotiations and order finalization.
- Monitor the complete sales pipeline from enquiry to order conversion.
- Conduct customer visits, technical discussions and business meetings.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase and Management teams to meet customer requirements.
- Develop annual/monthly sales plans, targets and business development strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing.
- Identify opportunities for new products, new markets and new customers.
- Develop pan-India and export business opportunities.
- Manage key customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
Strong B2B Industrial Sales & Business Development experienceExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Strong customer acquisition and lead-generation capabilities.Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.Understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication processes and costing is preferred.
